Grand Opening!
Well...it was only a matter of time before I decided that Facebook posts were not enough and I would venture into the world of blogging. This is my first attempt at shamelessly throwing my life into the online world via text longer than a status update so bear with me.
Let's recap 2010 as 2011 is fast approaching....
Feb. 2010: Colby and I find out we are expecting! We were told October 14th which would later change to Oct. 11th and Camryn Alyse Kahl would join us on Sept. 27, 2010
March 2010: Colby and I get engaged!
April 2010: It's a girl! Going with the C.A.K naming theme we decide on Camryn Alyse Kahl
May 2010: Call me Master! I graduate with my Masters Degree in Higher and Postsecondary Education- My second degree from ASU. Go Devils!
June 11, 2010: Colby and I get married! We had an amazing wedding at THE Wedding Chapel at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas...not the stereotypical Little White Wedding Chapel on TV the setting was beautiful and all of our family and friends had the opportunity to entertain themselves and experience Vegas!
September 24, 2010: With news that my OBGYN (who I love!) was headed out of the country the week before my due date I headed into the office to see if we could jump start labor!
September 25, 2010: The move begins from our apartment in Tempe to a rental home in San Tan Valley so I would be closer to work at the Polytechnic campus, being 9 months pregnant I was pretty useless and took on a supervisory role!
September 26, 2010: No baby yet- I had lost all hope of delivering with my doctor until a walk around the baby section at Target in Tempe prompted a trip to the hospital when I thought my water broke. After some walking at the hospital and a call to my doctor I was admitted at 7pm.
Fast- forward through IVs, Epidural, and water breaking we would soon meet our daughter
September 27, 2010 7:20am Scottsdale Osborne Hospital Camryn Alyse Kahl is born
6 lbs. 4oz, 20 inches long
And because we love showing her off...here is a collection of photos of Camryn!
Sprinkle in some trips to Vegas, Disneyland, Wedding shower, baby shower, graduation parties, my 24th birthday and Colby's 25th birthday we had a pretty eventful year!
